This family’s needs focused on accommodating visiting extended family and friends. Therefore a sizeable, open, and functional floor plan was desired. At over 4,700 square feet of total habitable area, the home features a large and very open kitchen, dining and living area at its core, as well as a separate family room and finished basement below. The home stretches east to west to capture plenty of daylight along its south side, which overlooks the natural sloping, wooded terrain and creek. With wide overhangs and porches, the daylight is controlled while giving plenty of space for outdoor gathering.
