This narrow lake-front lot formerly held an aging house that was determined not to be salvageable from a structural perspective. In its place, the challenge was to fit the new 2,700 square foot program within the existing narrow building envelope. The design objectives were to provide open space and views to the lake, but also to achieve the intimate cottage style and feel for both interior and exterior space.
