This is a new home built within an established neighborhood known for its sense of community and tradition. Featuring several historical homes, the community and its department of planning continually work toward encouraging architecturally responsible architecture that is appropriate and sensitive to its surroundings. Therefore the challenge here for ARK was to work with both the community and the owners to provide a home that met the needs of all parties involved, both functionally and architecturally. The home is approximately 3,000 square feet, and features a wrap-around front porch that embraces the neighborhood and its tradition.
